The Experience at Lancaster Brewing Company Lancaster, Pennsylvania

One of my big reasons for coming down to Pennsylvania is because I have family living in Allentown, Pennsylvania (Or at least they lived there at the time I wrote this).  The other reason for the visit was to head over to try out Lancaster Brewing Company Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The first time I had visited the area on a quick overnight trip I wanted to go because people had raved that it was such a great place.  It took me a year to get there and I finally tried it out, it was completely worth the trip!

My dad and I got there shortly after they opened on a Saturday, the bar was empty and only a few other people were there.  It was not long before the place was packed full.  We ended up spending about two hours there, enjoying the beer, the food, and the people!

Lancaster Brewing Company has three locations, we went to what I was told was the original location.  This location had all the tanks, set in an old industrial building, the atmosphere was great!  The staff greeting us were very friendly and our bar tender, Jess, was great.  She was kind enough to help me out by taking some photos for me.

Both my Dad and I ordered the full flight of tasters, which included eleven beers and one hard seltzer that they make.  The Seltzer was OK, if your into that thing, tried it to say I did, but not my thing.  The beer was outstanding!  I really enjoyed the Imperial Jo Milk Stout, the original Milk Stout, the Jam Series – Track #19 Chili Smoked Baltic Porter, the Double Chocolate Milk Stout, Lancaster Lager, and the Fresh Roasted Peanut Butter Ale.  But to be honest, all the beer was really good!  We ordered a pizza to share which was delicious.  One of the things that everyone had told was good was the food there, it certainly did not disappoint.

It did not take long for other people to join us at the bar, had they not joined us, we probably would have left a little earlier.  But we started talking to the others at the bar and the conversations just took off from there.  We met a couple from South Jersey that were visiting the area, Steve and Kim.  Very nice people.  Then we were joined by another couple from the Lancaster Area, Delores and Fred, also great people.  It was fun to just sit and get talking with people have some laughs over good food and beer!  It’s really the whole reason for me going to all these breweries and the one of the big reasons I wanted to write about my experiences.

Well, what more can I say.  Lancaster Brewing Company was a great experience all around.  The Beer, Food, Atmosphere, Staff and the People made it a one of a kind experience!  I highly recommend you go and check them out if you are anywhere near Lancaster.  It is definitely worth the stop.  I have of course included the information for the location I visited and the website for reference purposes.  I also have all the beers I have tried from them so far listed below.  So go check them out, go have an adventure and try new things!! Please Drink Responsibly.
